Jani Bertoncelj

Hello! My name is Jani Bertoncelj, I come from Slovenia. I finished masters degree in wood science and technology in 2015. For four years I have been working at Biotechnical faculty as a researcher/assistant. During this time, for 2 years I was pedagogical assistant for practical exercises, at department of Chemistry. Currently I am working as a IT support and administration at the same faculty. Among the tasks I communicate and give assistance to teachers during their classes. I was a member of three start-up groups of mostly young people, where we were developing new products and applications.

In my youth I was a member of scout organization, I also participated in Oratorium. Last 6 years I have been learning to dance, where I have been also assisting on dance classes for 3 years. Classes included all age groups.

Life motto: To always speak the truth it is the hardest thing to do.

I once asked a man who I admired: “What makes you so tough?” And he answered: “Always speak the truth, because that is the hardest thing to do.”
